Joaquim Florist and Gifts Pte Ltd (Joaquims.com) is
the first in Asia & Singapore to introduce an on-line
Florist, Gifts & Hamper service centre. Since its
introduction on 18th September 1995, business and online
traffic has increased and during the holiday seasons,
JOAQUIM assigned Ncode Consultant to develop a customized
Customer Relation Management System, and revamp its
e-commerce website to support its growing membership.
JOAQUIM’s new system must allow users from different
departments to access customers’ records, create
new orders, automatically queue jobs for processing
and delivery. The system also must provide timely information
to customer support staff, production staff and account
department. Ncode Consultant studied their existing
workflows, and re-engineered the processes, and, with
the use of IT, streamlined the 3 segmented operation
cycles (sales, production and payment) into one single
cycle.
Project Conclusion
After deploying the new system, JOAQUIM was able to
process 2-3 times more orders per day, operates efficiently
between departments, and extent their offers online.
Following the resounding success, JOAQUIM assigned
Ncode Consultant to implement phase 2 – marketing
initiative. We studied the profile of the customers,
generates personalized information regularly, which
enables these customers to place repeated orders more
quickly for each season.
