Marrying Corporate Image with Functionality

ITW Singapore (Pte) Ltd is a business unit of Illinois Tool Works, a Fortune 200 company, and distributes the brands of Plexus & Devcon. ITW Plexus® is a worldwide leader in fastening, joining, sealing, and coating technologies, whereas Devcon is the world leader in technology and products for OEM assembly, maintenance and repair applications.

The products of both industrial brands are distributed by ITW Singapore through it’s worldwide network of industrial distributors in North America, South America, Europe, Australia, Asia, Japan, and the Far East.

With the increasing need to provide consistent product information to the distributors in a cost-effective way, the Internet will be the ideal platform to leverage on.

Ncode Consultant was engaged to create their first corporate website in 2001. The purpose for this website was to introduce the brand of ITW Performance Polymers Asia to business associates in Singapore and other countries.
Subsequently, to capitalise on the growth of the Brand awareness of the 2 brands, Devcon and Plexus, ITW Singapore further engaged Ncode to create the 2 brands’ websites, www.plexusasia.com , and www.devconasia.com (www.ebusiness.com.sg/devcon/) in 2003 and 2005 respectively.

Ncode engaged the following concept for all three websites:

• Adopting an industrial look and feel while
  maintaining a user-friendly experience.
• Maintain focus on E-Information.
