Today, Ncode Consultant Pte Ltd announced
the launch of a new version of NTRIX School Administration
System. This product is specially designed for Singapore local
schools, comprising of Primary, Secondary, Junior College,
and International schools, to connect the schools with its
community. It is a comprehensive portal that integrates different
modules with strong focus on communicating between schools
and parents. The modules include attendance, conduct, progress
reports, result analysis, events, news, facility bookings,
e-forms, and resource download.
The latest NTRIX 2007 R2
is aimed to provide more administration and teaching tools
for both teaching and non teaching staffs in the monitoring
and facilitation of students’ academic growth. It comes
with new comprehensive modules such as Target Setting, Weekly
Teaching Plan, School Awards and Minutes Tracking. It also
has in-built features to integrate to some of the popular
Leaning Management Systems like Microsoft Learning Gateway
(MLG), WizLearn, IVLE and Moodle Learning Management System.
These new components have been deployed
and unit tested with some of the schools that are using the
current NTRIX version in 2006 - and the experience gained
in early testing has helped the development team to ensure
that every feature is relevant and optimized for Singapore
schools.
Built on the Microsoft.NET platform, the
cost of integration and interoperability these new modules
are lower than many of the other technologies Ncode had used
in the past 10 years. By managing the integration details,
the .NET Framework also provides a highly productive and standards-based
environment. This allows easy integration of future scalability
with decreased code complexity and increased coherency.
In addition to the new modules, NTRIX
2007 R2 has also enhanced some of its existing features
under its Progress Report, News Management and E-Form Modules.
As part of the company’s plan to provide a more integrated
solution and meet the growing IT demand of the market, Ncode
will continue its journey to create more integrated systems
for the local schools.
The new NTRIX 2007 R2 will
not be offered under the standard 2006/7 subscription package.
